A large pine tree hit our house after a tornado tore through our neighborhood. We hired David Browne and Homeworks of Georgia to perform most of the repairs necessary. The damage to our home was extensive and ranged from attic structural damage to putting on a completely new roof and gutters. I was referred to David Browne of Homeworks to have my roof repaired by my co-worker. My co-worker had her roof replaced a short time before mine needed to be replaced. She had nothing but a glowing recommendation for David and his work. I decided to give him a call for an estimate. The estimate was by far the best I had received. He said he would stick by his price and guarantee his work. David and his crew completed the job in a days time. Unfortunately there was a hail storm in my area that produced golf ball sized hail that destroyed my roof just 3 years after David replaced it the first time. I called David out for another estimate and repair. David remembered me and the work that he had performed on my home. David again replaced my roof in one days time and for a very reasonable price. I had Homeworks replace the siding on my home with Hardiplank and then paint the house, and I was very satisfied with their professional work and reasonable price. I am remodeling a HUD foreclosure that I purchased that had been vacant for a couple years, and David Browne was very “hands-on” and responsive when preparing the estimate and also during the project, helping me decide what to try to fix (like some transoms, fascia and gutters) versus what to replace (like one window and a door), and I believe he gave me fair advice. I also would note that even when changes were made during the project, Homeworks didn’t try to gouge me on the price for the changes, which I’ve found is a common tactic by contractors, so overall I was very happy with their work.
